It was a cold and miserable one this week – both in terms of the weather and my training.
The heel issue returned with a vengeance on squat day and that carried through to deadlift – I managed two reps on my first working set.
However, I now know the cause is plantar fascitis, and the causes of that are something I can work on. In my first stretching session to work on it I could feel my calf was as tight as can be, so hopefully there’s light at the end of the tunnel.
I’m not sure what next week will hold, but I know I’ll be focused on what I can do, rather than what I can’t.
