Week 5 was a tough one. In the first session of the week I had significant pain in my heel, tried switching to bench but I’d benched the day before so didn’t get very far. In my deadlift session my legs were jelly before my first working set – I went back in the house and spent the rest of the day not eating and carving out as much time to sleep as I could. Not ideal for week five of prep – but better than this coming another six weeks or so down the line I suppose!
Still, I did what I could, and bench seems to be coming along well at the moment, so let’s focus on the positives!
